Description

The Asian American Association (AAA), founded in 1985, is one of the most diverse student-run organizations on the campus of Washington University. AAA consists of over 150 members whose backgrounds are as diverse as any group on Wash U’s campus -- ranging from international students, American-born Asians from across the United States, and individuals who are interested in learning more about the Asian experience in America. While encouraging its members to become involved in both planning and participating in its numerous activities, the Asian American Association provides limitless opportunities for new friendships, personal growth, and leadership development. Representing diverse academic, social, cultural, and geographic interests, AAA works to promote a healthier understanding of the Asian experience in America within its membership and the Washington University community. As an evolving organization, AAA continues to expand upon new programs and events, while it maintains its organizational goal of being a positive contributor to Wash U’s multicultural student body.
