Description

The Alternative Lifestyle Association (ALA) is a Student Union recognized group dedicated to bringing resources to the Washington University campus and the St. Louis community in an effort to promote healthy attitudes towards sex and sexuality. We are open to all races, religions, genders, sexual orientations and kinks. We promote acceptance and education, and expect all members to show respect for each other's lifestyles, how ever different or not they may be.  We encourage members to communicate and learn from one another and ask that all meeting attendees set aside assumptions about who people are and what they do.

As a Wash U student group, our primary purpose is to provide resources for the Wash U community, but we strive to support all groups nationwide with a similar sex-positive missions. Our resources include discussions, hands-on workshops, a lending library, and occasional community outreach events, which may includes speakers, panel discussions, fetish fashion shows, vendor fairs, or other events coordinated by the students. Please visit our website for more information or send us an e-mail at info@washualtlife.org
