The mission of Student Union is to create a vibrant campus community by: advocating for the needs and interests of undergraduate students, developing and implementing both innovative and traditional programs, and allocating the student activity fee to unique and engaging activities, programs, and initiatives.

Executive Officers
The President is the official representative of Student Union and is responsible for the overall performance and growth of the organization. Responsibilities include chairing the Executive Council, appointing representatives to the University Judicial Board, University Standing Committees, and City Councils as well as sitting on numerous University Committees.
The Vice President of Administration is the official internal affars officer and archivist of Student Union. Responsibilities include chairing the Recruitment & Retention Committeee and the School President's Council. In addition, the Vice President of Administration oversees and asvises all Cabinet Committees and other auxilary organizations of the Student Union.
The Vice President of Finance oversees the collection, disbursement, and accounting of the revenues and expenditures of the Student Union. Responsibilities include writing the General Budget for the year, overseeing the Student Union Business Managers, advising the Budget Committee, setting overall spending policy, and evaluating budget appeal and speakers fund requests of less than $1,000.
The Vice President of Public Relations is the official public relations director for Student Union. Responsibilities include developing and promoting Student Union’s brand, relationship with the media, and publicity, serving as a public relations resource for student groups, chairing the Public Relations Committee and communicating efforts of Student Union to the student body on a consistent basis.
The Vice President of Programming is the official Student Union represntative for University programming. Responsibilities include planning the Student Union Pre-Orientation program, setting the vision for University programming, chairing the Social Programming Board, and advising all Class Councils.
