The mission of Student Union is to create a vibrant campus community by: advocating for the needs and interests of undergraduate students, developing and implementing both innovative and traditional programs, and allocating the student activity fee to unique and engaging activities, programs, and initiatives.

Student Group Resources > Webspace Setup

The following is a step-by-step guide to accessing your Student Union provided webspace. If you want information on accessing your e-mail account, you can either read the Outlook Setup Guide or access your e-mail directly using webmail.

Go to http://www.ssh.org/support/downloads/ and download a free version of their "SSH Secure Shell for Workstations".
After installing the SSH client, open the program.
Click "Quick Connect" in the program toolbar.

In "Host Name", fill in "sugroups.wustl.edu" (without the quotes).
In "User Name", fill in the username provided for you by SGAC. This will always be the beginning of your e-mail account (i.e. if your e-mail address is club@sugroups.wustl.edu, your username is "club" (without the quotes).
Click on "Connect".

You may be asked to "save a host key to the local database." Click "Yes".

You will be prompted for your password. Fill in the password provided by SGAC and click "OK".
In the toolbar, click on the icon that looks like a folder with blue dots on it.

You will be presented with an "explorer"-type window. Drag files from the left side (your computer) to the right side (the server).
Any files placed in "public_html" on the server will appear on your website.
The link to your website will be http://sugroups.wustl.edu/~club/ (where club is your username).
