Hello Everyone,
The Student Group Activities Committee (SGAC) is now accepting applications for open seats on the committee. For those of you who don't know, SGAC is a Treasury committee that acts as a liaison between all 200+ student groups on campus and Student Union. The committee decides which groups obtain SU recognition, plan the activities fair and president and treasurer's training, deregister inactive groups, serve as a resource for student groups, and much more.
We will be having our first meeting Sunday, August 30th upstairs in the SU
office, located in the DUC, at 2pm where you can see the committee in action, learn more about SGAC, and get any questions you might have answered. We will be seeing two actual groups so attending the meeting would be a great chance to gain more insight into what SGAC does before deciding whether or not you would like to apply.
An application has been attached below. Please return completed applications to sgac@su.wustl.edu or turn paper copies in to the SGAC mailbox located on the 2nd floor of the SU office. Applications are due September 8th at 5 pm.
