Speaker and Committee Chair: Budget Committee first meeting this week! “turn up” – Vikram Biswas, Chair of Finance

Danyao: We are having first meeting either tomorrow or Thursday. Need preference over when we’re going to meet. For the activity fair subcommittee, we’re going to have 3 in charge for each committee. Definitely encourage people to be in charge of one of the three committees. There are only going to be 3-4 people in one team. Questions? Let me know. For the whole treasury: We’re having the fall activities fair on the first Friday. It’s from 4:30 – 5:00. Crystal Clear: All treasury representatives are supposed to volunteer! Be aware.

Hunter: Speaker series email sent out. Promote this thing! Get the word out. Share it. Retweet it. Reblog it. Hear all about it in the fall! Good job on this term – looking forwards to working with you guys in the fall.

Good job! No perpetually empty speakers list, which was really nice. Going forward, let’s let the person proposing the motion explain what it consists of before we second it. Also… Good job holding exec accountable!

Hunter
Fine with the way that all appeals went… except the students’ sports board. I think we trusted that the appeals were fine. They’re a student group too – we could have probed them more. Feel that we went into approving it way too quick – we should have asked more specifics about this sort of stuff… They’re just as accountable as other student groups, and I’m not sure we should have immediately funded it. Alex
Sports Club Board is something that SU is going to be working on in the next year… Email Kenneth if you have any thoughts. Jordan
Some aspects of SCB are very efficient and we shouldn’t worry about it. Danyao
I liked how SCB operated in that competitions only got 75% and they had a standard. Bradford
The only rule that treasury has is that we don’t fund waterbottles. SCB has a manual that says like… “We only fund $300 for flights.” Hunter
