V. Open Forum

Comments: By:
SU does not have adequate storage and so in the future we will have to evaluate storage on a case by case basis. Several Members
Treasury should focus on funding based on financial reasons and not based on other things. Was referring to the Ellen Page decision. Should we consider a cap. Maaz
Speaker Series is not Treasury and should be treated differently. Laura

Treasury should be more focused on the speakers during Speaker Series. The Straw Poll was not used as efficiently as possible. Vikram
We don’t need a hard cap. Ellen Page event was valuable. Bill
We don’t need a hard cap. Keaton
We should always give groups the chance to speak and everyone should leave the room with the feeling that they’ve been heard. Lemoine
We were strict with some groups and lenient with others. Kabir
Complimented Lemoine. Treasury shouldn’t feel compelled to vote a certain way but there are certain rules that SU have that were ignored. Kenneth
SU is meeting with Own It to make sure that they make Ellen Page as open as possible Mike
SU will be working with every group to make sure that they spend the money well. Hunter
Treasury should follow snap consensus. Laura
Student groups will attack each other if given the chance. Kenneth
It’s good that student groups were speaking up. Mehrmah
Treasury was good about the first part of Speaker Series. We were very decisive. Danyao
We should limit our personal bias. Rosie
Something about irrational. Kabir
StudLife was positive towards Treasury Hunter
It’s impossible not to bring bias into decisions Laura
Inevitable that we’ll bring personal bias. Student groups shouldn’t tell us what to do. Keaton
When Student groups advertise their own groups during discussion, it is distracting. Vikram
Go to speaker series Jordan
Hunter did a good job. Lemoine
